How to Buy Smarter Wholesale Items and Use Automated Bid-Sniper Technology Simultaneously
There are a lot of eBay tips shared in Power Seller circles about how to make money on eBay using wholesale lists. But much of what you’ve heard regarding some eBay selling probably isn’t as honest as it sounds.
Let me give you the low-down and some tips for selling on eBay that have to do with wholesale lists, plus introduce you to a powerful new auction technology that is one of my best eBay tips to help you buy hot products right before the auction’s end – even if you’re not at your computer!
I have a wholesale list that I use in my own eBay selling of information technology, but I don’t sell as many copies on eBay as I do on other Web sites.
Through an arranged agreement, I sell a lot of high-tech equipment through another eBay user I’ve contracted with who uses my wholesale contacts as well as some of my tips for selling on eBay to his advantage.
But what I sell on this wholesale list is a great resource of contacts that you can use as one of my powerful eBay tips to help you really get the best pricing on computer-related equipment for your eBay selling endeavors.
So, I do sell a wholesale list but to warn you, I definitely put up a flag for this, and it’s part of those eBay tips I give for your own benefit. It’s very important for you to understand that most $1 to $19 wholesale lists are a complete and total waste of your money, because you are actually being recruited to do eBay selling of other people’s items.
First, let’s move away from wholesale lists and talk about something that I think is very important for anyone who’s buying products online and one of those excellent eBay tips you’ll use again and again. There’s a technology product out there used not for eBay selling, but for buying that a buyer uses to “snipe” auctions, which you may know means to bid on an auction at the last minute so that other bidders have no chance to bid against you.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with sniping, sniping is powerful. You can buy sniping software right off of eBay and save yourself a lot of time and a lot of headaches when it comes to buying, and although it’s used for buying, this helps you greatly as one of those tips for selling on eBay by saving you a lot of time.
I can’t stand it when I have to sit and watch an open auction, and wait for a product to close or come close to ending before bidding on it. That’s why, as one of my most useful eBay tips, I highly recommend sniping software.
That’s how I buy my products. If I buy a product and that product is something that’s in demand, I set a price that I want to pay for it and through the sniping software, I’m able to buy that product and compete against other bidders without having to be there. I can then move on to my eBay selling and in the end, wind up saving a lot of time.
This software is amazing and should be a must-have on any list of tips for selling on eBay, though it’s actually about buying on eBay – you can actually set a bid on a product and, say you want to pay a particular price for that product, right before the auction ends, you can program the software to place the bid for you.
What are the benefits of that and why is it one of my best eBay tips? Well, first, once you install the bidding software, and it’s in place, you don’t have to be there to place the bid. The software puts the bid in for you. You can be doing something else entirely, like strategizing your eBay selling for after the auction or working on the selling part of an already-completed auction you’ve won previously.
Second, you can set a price threshold, or let’s call it a “ceiling,” on the price that you want to pay for the product so that if someone pays more for the product, you know that through the programming of the software, which is very easy to learn, you’re not going to pay more for the product than the specific dollar amount you’ve set. Consider how great this works as one of your top tips for selling on eBay.
So it’s a twofold win as one of the smartest eBay tips you can use. Ultimately, you save a lot of time (which often translates into money) – and that’s always a huge plus.
For those of you not familiar with sniping software just go onto eBay, or you can go onto any auction site for that matter, and actually look up the word “sniping.” Sniping is one of those eBay tips used by those ready to get serious about their eBay purchasing which leads to optimal eBay selling.
Sniping software runs anywhere from $10 to $20. I think for people who want to optimize buying, it truly is the best way to get good pricing and optimize pricing on products and services that you buy. This, as I’ve mentioned before, leads to selling, which puts using sniping software at the top level of tips for selling on eBay that really work.
